the teaching and learning process?
Digital technology and IWBs have a key role to play in 21st century schools
to support teaching, learning, administration and management and as a result all
staff need to be confident users of a wide range of resources. All kinds of
technology are moving at a faster pace than we can keep up. Therefore, teachers
need to regularly update their knowledge, skills and pedagogy. All educators
need to have relevant skills to ensure they optimize the benefits of an
interactive whiteboard in their classroom.

IWBNet’s LIFT Online IWB Training Course will provide you with stepping
stones to increase (lift) your confidence and competence so that you can
continue to fully engage your students in your classrooms. During this 26 week
course you will learn how to create powerful learning experiences using a
variety of resources. You will save time and energy by learning how to find,
re-purpose and re-use lessons and objects.
When you participate in this training you will:

Examine a framework for good
teaching practice and apply it to using IWBs in the classroom

Be mentored by leading IWB
practitioners

Receive very detailed
courseware containing good teaching practice ideas, sample IWB files used in
the training and step by step instructions for creating these

Be able to think deeply about
the best ways to use IWBs to improve and enrich the learning of your
students

Revise your understanding of
the elements of good teaching practice and confirm their importance when
using IWBs in the teaching and learning process

Learn that IWBs can be used
to support and extend all of the elements of good teaching practice

Engage in hands on practical
activities experimenting with, creating and sharing IWB resources and
reflecting on what you have learned

Commit to embedding IWB files
which support and extend the elements of good teaching practice into your
own classroom practice

Submit four lessons to your
course mentor for feedback and assessment

Have 26 weeks to complete
your course (4 modules of 6 weeks with some breaks between modules)
Cost
The cost to register for LIFT Online IWB Training Course is AU $495 inc GST.
Training fees are tax deductable. A tax invoice will be sent to you or your
school on receipt of your registration. On receipt of payment your mentor will
contact you with all necessary logins and detail. If you are paying from outside
of Australia credit card payment is acceptable. The AU $495 will convert to your
local currency once you receive your statement. Use

Refund Policy
All registration fees must be paid within 14 days of the
invoice being issued or in advance of the date of attendance. Which ever date
occurs first, applies. Refunds will be given as follows: up to 14 days before
the commencement of a conference. No refund will be given after that time;
however an alternate person may attend. If an invoice is unpaid and cancellation
is not received up to 14 days before a conference, payment will be pursued.
Whilst every effort will be made to run advertised conferences, IWBNet reserves
the right to vary the advertised schedule. Minimum numbers are required for all
events to run as scheduled. IWBNet is not responsible for lost monies due to the
cancellation of the event within the above timeframes. Program content is
